is it deja vu or i've mistakenly went to a wrong site? well it says www.friendster.com right at the address bar.. they did start the "social networking fever" way back in 2003 and FYI, its headquarters are in sydney, australia (accdg to wiki), hehe..

i learned about it thru bry who called me and said that friendster is different and when i checked the site, it was so similar like facebook (almost a carbon copy). back in college, this was the most popular site and its like if you don't have an account, you're not in! well, this company lost its grip when other social networks such as myspace (used by celebrities as fan page) and facebook (eto na sikat ngayon) came into the spotlight!

friendster is still popular, especially here in asia but when facebook introduced games such as mafia wars, pet society, etc.. it totally lost the battle plus it wasn't advertised much on tv! the other problem was that it also takes time to load those profiles with all the customization and ads on each page (just to please users).. on the bright side, the good thing about friendster is that when you access the help page and asked them things that aren't already listed, a help support responds to you (not right away but you know it came from a human being) not like that automated email that you usually received (i've experienced that)..

the first thing that you'll see from their site is the logo. its like a handwriting of a child with a smiley placed on the cloud. second the color is defaulted to green which you can change to green or purple (i like).. eventhough the page is so similar to facebook, your profile page can still be customized which you'll never experience with facebook. they also have this "treasure chest" which is similar to gift (i don't actually need it) but the ads are still huge (i prefer the ads done by facebook). the speed is also better compared before. the verdict is still up to you but as for me i'm maintaining both accounts, hahahaha

its traffic once more in fairview (what's new) but what caught my attention was that motorcycle, why? as you can see on the picture, at the back of the driver was that dog... he was able to maintain his balance on the bike especially when the driver changes lanes (i even went on hazard just to get that shot), hehe.. i couldn't help myself and approached the driver (while the traffic light is red) and asked him how his dog maintains that balance.. to my surprise, the driver even said that sometimes he carries a basket full of veggies when they go to the market... whoaaaaaa!!! that's one hell of a dog and a man' bestfriend!

i wasn't paying much attention to this store (asa corner sya kaso di obvious), i didn't know that it existed here in eastwood hehehe.. ana mentioned this to me and she wanted to check out the place if the food is good or not.. unfortunately, she's on LOA due to her operation (get well soon girl!)..


i couldn't wait anymore, my curiosity is killing me so i gotta check it out!! i went out during lunch time (technically breakfast) and got myself a HBLT which stands for "ham bacon lettuce tomato".. this one costs P70 and mainly their menu caters to healthy eating like their motto: "fresh not fried"..

this is a perfect substitute for those peeps who are watching their weight or have that guilt feeling of eating rice, hehehe.. one sandwich is good enough for 2 (di ko naubos yung akin eh, mabigat pa sa tyan), this doesn't apply to men (malalakas kayo kumain eh), hahaha..  its like a cheaper version of subway. they also serve pasta and you can check their site at  http://thesandwichguy.com for further details!

ahhhhh, the long wait is over and its finally here, hehehe.. neri reminded me that its shown in cinemas, thanks girl!! i told bry about it and our first attempt to watch wasn't successful (due to long lines) but we made it the next day, hehe..

I dragged him in watching this movie coz he's not really a fan especially when i kept repeating the part on the book.. we even saw mike enriquez (kaso due to his status di na sya pumila) which we didn't mind (di naman kami dun nakapila eh). bry got pissed off on the girl in front of us coz she started calling her gals when it was her turn to purchase the tickets (engot talaga, sana ginawa nya habang nakapila)..

we still have an hour to spare so we grab a bite @ stackers cafe. i always order for the jack burger with iced mocha while bry got the classic massive burger, hehe.. i haven't brought him yet to charlie's (that's gonna be another post) and i know he'll like it there as well, hehe..

going back to the movie, i'm not gonna spoil the story and all i can say is the movie was better than the first one. its also a good thing that they didn't put too much focus during bella & jacob's scene (coz on the book, i skip it). i just realized that jane ws played by dakota fanning (she's perfect for the part) and the part of alice (played by ashley greene) was also nice as well. i didn't like the part where bella was having bad dreams (exaggerated yung screaming nya), hehehe.. can't wait for the next movie: the eclipse!

finally, krispy kreme has opened its doors here in Eastwood city, libis.. i usually go to gateway or in greenhills (dun sa drivethru) whenever donut craves kick in, hehehe.. its located near 7-11 but unfortunately, its not drive friendly.. why? coz even if you go on hazard for 5-10mins in front of 7-11, a guard will approach you and tell you to park.. that happened to me when i went to citibank and i was like WTF??! i will just go to the atm for 3 mins and he's asking me to park, are you crazy???!! hmmm, i wonder.. what time do they close so i can have some "double chocolate frozen blend" and a piece of dark chocolate doughnut.. yummy
